Founder’s note
I built this because I found that top-ranking utility tools on Google send your private data to the server, while some stuff can be done client-side in the browser. To maintain privacy, I've built it myself.
Spotlight note
We like the idea of this tool and think that it's exactly what we need to have here, and why we created this place, to have developer tools across a lot of categories. This is what Candid Tools does, and it actually finds a pain-point: a lot of these "free tools" online gather data, they also tell you they are free until you have to pay for a 5$ plan after using them twice, so they built a sort of aggregator for very simple, useful tools for everyday developer life. Right now, the UI looks a little like basic Claude, but it can always be improved!
